在DSU进行CNA培训的选择

  1. 信贷: The didactic 课程 will be 3 credit hours for 60 hours of instruction, skills, and 测试. The clinical 课程 will be 1 credit for 16 hours of hands-on, site-based, 临床经验. This would be charged at the current fee per credit rate and would include 1 attempt of 测试 for the CNA certification upon completion of the 课程. This 课程 would also include the use of a textbook which is provided, or 学生可以购买教科书. 笔试复试费用为每次100元; 口试110美元，技能考试每次125美元.
  2. DSU Department of Nursing would offer the opportunity to “challenge” the state CNA 考试. This would be done for a fee of $225 (for written 考试 and skills) and retest fees of $100 per attempt for the written 考试, $110 for oral 考试, and $125 per attempt 对技能.

DSU CNA课程何时以及如何提供?

  1. A two-week didactic 课程 offered during Maymester with an additional week for clinical 技能经验. The CNA 课程 will be offered by a full-time faculty member (at 这次是混合模式. State 测试 will occur following successful completion 课堂和临床经验.
  2. An eight-week 课程 that includes both didactic and 临床经验 offered 在秋季和春季学期. CNA课程将提供混合或 traditional face-to-face and will be determined by the faculty teaching the 课程. State 测试 will occur following the successful completion of the classroom and 临床经验.

One-step Tuberculosis (TB) Mantoux skin test and drug screening are available via DSU Student Health on the designated date and time for participants to be screened. 请在下面的部分中找到内容细节. 

Failure to provide these health documents will delay the registration 过程, and your registration will be transferred to the next available training session. 参与者 will be allowed two (2) transfers before their registration is dropped and will need 重新完成申请流程. 

Class size is limited, and enrollment is based on a first-come, first-serve basis. Waiting lists are established once classes have met maximum enrollment.

Classes will be held on the DSU campus in Klinefelter Hall, with lab-based practice in the Nursing Learning Lab (NLL); clinical training will be provided (TBA) in Dickinson, ND.

Attendance is mandatory for each scheduled class and clinical session.

Once you have successfully completed the 课程, you will be able to take the hands-on skills and web-based knowledge 考试s on the DSU campus to earn your Certified Nursing 助理(CNA)证书. 

When you earn the CNA certificate, it is yours to use for employment, and you will be responsible to the ND Department of Health for subsequent renewal. 

取消政策 

DSU reserves the right to cancel the 课程 if there are less than six (6) students. Should the class need to be cancelled or rescheduled, participants will be notified 提前一周. 

Registered students may be transferred to the next scheduled class; costs associated with the criminal background check, 结核病和药物筛选 are non-refundable.
